When the majority of us hear the name “Macy’s” we think of the famous Thanksgiving Day parade, but here are a few other interesting facts about Macy’s:

Rachel Ray, of TV, cooking and writing fame, got her first job working at a Macy’s candy counter.

The Parade balloons take six hours to inflate and are done the night before the parade. Some of the larger balloons require 50 people to hold them down.
