All gift cards must first be added to your “My Account” page in your PlasticVault. Only after they are in your PlasticVault can they be listed for sale or trade or sold for QuikCash .
Add a Card to “My PlasticVault”: This is the place that all of your gift card information is safely stored.
- Click on the “PlasticVault” link on the right of the page.
- You will automatically be taken to your “PlasticVault”.
- Go to “Add New Card”
- Enter your gift card information including (a) Merchant Name (b) Gift Card Number (c) PIN or Access Number (d) Gift Card Value Follow the fields and select the appropriate information.
- Click on “Save Gift Card”
- Your gift card will be locked safely in your PlasticVault until you decide you want to sell it, trade it, use it yourself or sell it to Plastic Jungle for QuikCash.
*Your PlasticVault should only contain cards you own with a balance on them. Please remember to delete a gift card if you use it yourself.
* You will be required to have a credit or debit card on file to sell or trade on Plastic Jungle. This is to ensure a safe environment.
Selling Your Card to Plastic Jungle with through QuikCash is the easiest way to turn your gift card into cash. Plastic Jungle buys your gift card directly so there is no waiting for your card to sell and no managing your listing.
Sell to PJ though QuikCash:
- Click on the QuikCash link on the right side of the home page. This will take you to our QuikCash page.
- Pull down the merchant list and click on your merchant. Only QuikCash Merchants are on this pull down so if your merchant is not there they are not QuikCash Merchants ,
- Enter the Value of your gift card and click “Show Me the Money”.
- QuikCash will respond with the amount that PJ will pay you for your card.
- If you want Cash Now, click on “Sell My Card for QuikCash Now!”
- You will then be required to Register if you have not or go to “My Account” to confirm if this gift card is one that is already in your “ PlasticVault ” in “My Account”.
- If the card is already listed in your PlasticVault you simply click on “QuikCash” next to the card you want to sell or you will “Add New Card” by clicking that button at the top.
- If it was a new card then once your card info is in and you save it, you simply click the QuikCash button next to the card and we confirm the card and what we pay for it.
- You will be taken to a QuikCash Confirmation page and be directed to print 2 copies of the page.
- One copy is kept for your records and the second is sent to Plastic Jungle with your gift card.
- We recommend that you send your card with tracking as PJ is not responsible for the gift card until we receive it.
- Once we receive your gift card and verify the balance on it we will send you a check and move the card from your PlasticVault to ours. QuikCash!!
PJ will pay 65% of the balance of gift cards for the following merchants:
ARCO BP, Costco, Chevron Texaco, Exxon Mobil Home Depot, Lowe’s, Sam’s Club, Shell, Target, Wal-Mart.
PJ will pay 60% of the balance of gift cards for the following merchants:
Apple Store, Applebee's, Bahama Breeze, Bath & Body Works, Best Buy, Burlington Coat Factory, Cheesecake Factory, Chili’s, Circuit City, Dave & Buster’s, Dicks Sporting Goods, Elephant Bar, Flemings, Gap, JC Penney, Logan’s Roadhouse, Macys, Marshall’s, Office Max, Office Depot, Olive Garden, Old Navy, On The Border, Outback Steakhouse, Pier 1 Imports, Pottery Barn, Red Lobster, Red Robin, Romano’s Macaroni Grill, Ruth’s Chris, Sears, Smokey Bones, Staples, Starbucks, TGI Friday’s, TJ Maxx, Victoria’s Secret, William Sonoma.
PJ will pay 55% of the balance of gift cards for the following merchants:
Abercrombie and Fitch, American Eagle Outfitters, Ann Taylor, Ann Taylor Loft, Banana Republic, Barnes & Noble, Barneys New York, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Bloomingdales, Borders, Burberry, Coach, Crate & Barrel, Hollister, IKEA, Jamba Juice, KB Toy’s, Kohl’s, Lord & Taylor, Mervyn’s, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom’s, Petco, PetSmart, Regal Entertainment Group, Saks Fifth Avenue, Toys R Us, Urban Outfitters, Whole Foods.

Choosing How I want to List my Gift Card
At Plastic Jungle, you can sell gift cards for a variety of merchants, including restaurants, dining, clothing and more. We make it as easy as possible to sell your gift cards. And listing them is free!
The first step in selling your gift card(s) is to list them. There are a number of ways to list your gift card(s), depending upon your situation and the type of gift card(s) you have.
In this section, we'll take you through all of the steps to list your gift card(s), whether you want to sell gift card(s) for QuikCash , a Fixed Price , Declining Price or a Trade, you'll have your gift card(s) listed and ready to be purchased in no time!
All gift cards must first be added to your “My Account” in your PlasticVault. Only after they are in your PlasticVault can they be listed for sale or trade. The sale of your gift card cannot exceed $9000.
Once you're gift card(s) has been listed it will begin a verification process. If accurate information is provided we should be able to verify your card quickly. Once your card is verified it will be visible to thousands of potential buyers.
The great news is that you can change your listings at any time - 24 hours a day. We provide the tools you need to monitor and adjust your listings, giving you the ability to actively manage your listings and increase the chance that your gift card sells. You lock your cards into your PlasticVault and they will always be safe and secure.
If you need to edit your gift card, you must first cancel the listing and then make the proper changes.
If you deleted a gift card by accident, please call 1-877.MYJUNGLE and let our customer service help you return it to your PlasticVault.
When someone purchases your gift card, we'll send you an email to notify you of the sale.
After the buyer receives your gift cards, we'll send your payment by check. We collect a 10% commission from each sale, which we deduct along with shipping charges prior to sending your payment. Your payment will reflect this commission.
There are three types of Listings:
- Buy Now (Fixed Price) Listing
- Declining Price
- Make An Offer Feature
Don't forget, when your gift card sells, we collect a 10% commission plus shipping from the total sale price of your listing. Keep this commission in mind when deciding on a sale price of your Gift Cards.
Listing Gift Card(s) for Fixed Price
To list gift card(s) for a fixed price:
- Click Sell at the top of the Plastic Jungle web page.
- If you have not yet created an account, you will be prompted to do so. For more information, read about Creating an Account .
- Your gift card must first be listed in your PlasticVault . See PlasticVault to learn how to list enter your card information and keep it safe in the vault.
- Click on “List for Sale or Trade” button next to your card in your PlasticVault. You can also choose to sell you card directly to Plastic Jungle for QuikCash if your card is one of our QuikCash Merchants .
- Proceed through the listing process, entering the appropriate information and taking extra care that you provide accurate and correct details for your gift cards. Choose a “Buy Now” price. You may use the
- PriceAdvisor if you need suggestions on what your merchant's gift cards are selling for.
- Decide if you want buyers to be able to “ Make An Offer ” for your gift card.
- If you would like Plastic Jungle to automatically reduce the asking price of your gift card choose the Declining Price Feature . Be sure to set your minimum price!
- You can also trade your gift card. For trade questions click here to go to the Trading Learning Center .
- The first time you sell gift card(s), we'll ask for a valid credit or debit card, which we'll use to verify your name and billing address. As part of our Plastic Jungle guarantee, this security measure helps protect against fraudulent charges and gift card listings. By providing this information, you are helping make the Plastic Jungle marketplace more secure. Thank you!
Your gift card is now listed. Refer to your PlasticVault to edit your listing at anytime. The only field you can not edit is the “Card Value” field. All other information may be changed at anytime. You will receive email and text messaging if you registered notifications when you have offers or your gift card has sold.
Listing Gift Card(s) for Declining Price
Setting a declining price may increase the likelihood of a sale. If you wish to set a declining price for your gift card(s), specify a maximum and minimum price for which you're willing to sell your gift card(s). On the first day of your listing, your gift card(s) will be listed at the maximum price. Your listing will decrease in price incrementally each day until your gift card(s) sell or the minimum price is reached.
Note: Your gift cards may sell at any price between the maximum price and minimum price. With a declining price, you do not need to monitor or modify your gift card price. We do it for you daily.

- Your gift card must first be listed in your PlasticVault . See PlasticVault to learn how to list enter your card information and keep it safe in the vault.
- Click on “List for Sale or Trade” button next to your card in your PlasticVault. You can also choose to sell you card directly to Plastic Jungle for QuikCash if your card is one of our QuikCash Merchants .
- Proceed through the listing process, entering the appropriate information and taking extra care that you provide accurate and correct details for your gift cards. Choose a buy now price. (Use the PriceAdvisor if you need suggestions on what your merchant's gift cards are selling for.
- Decide if you want buyers to be able to “ Make An Offer ” for your gift card.
- If you would like Plastic Jungle to automatically reduce the asking price of your gift card choose the Declining Price Feature .
- Enter the “Amount to Reduce By” and if you want it to be a percentage of the sell price or a flat dollar amount.
- Choose how often you want your cards sell price to reduce; daily, every 2, 3 or 4 days.
Using the “Make An Offer” Feature
This feature allows Buyers to “Make An Offer” for your Gift Card. If you choose to allow this feature Buyers will be able to offer any amount for your card. You as the Seller have the option to “Accept” or “Decline” the offer. The offer is not binding until it is “Accepted”. Once an offer is Accepted the Buyers credit card is charged and the Seller is sent a link to “ Ship ” the card. Once delivery has been confirmed the Seller will be paid by Check.

- Click on “List for Sale or Trade” button next to your card in your PlasticVault. You can also choose to sell you card directly to Plastic Jungle for QuikCash if your card is one of our QuikCash Merchants .
- Proceed through the listing process, entering the appropriate information and taking extra care that you provide accurate and correct details for your gift cards. Choose a buy now price. (Use the PriceAdvisor if you need suggestions on what your merchant's gift cards are selling for.
- Decide if you want buyers to be able to “Make An Offer” for your gift card. If so then click “Allow Buyers to Make An Offer” button.
Be prepared to provide the following information when you list your gift cards:
- Gift Card Merchant – The name and phone number of the merchant of your gift card.
- Type of Sale -- the way you want to sell your gift card. You can choose to set a fixed price or a declining price. You can also set up a trade sale or QuikCash.
- Gift Card Value -- The actual stored value on your gift card.
- Gift Card Number -- The unique number assigned specifically to your gift card.
- PIN Number / Access Number - The unique PIN number assigned to identify your gift card
The gift card and PIN number are only able to be viewed by members of Plastic Jungle's elite verification team. The numbers can not be seen by other PJ users.
Very Important: It is imperative that you enter your listings properly. Listings that do not conform to Plastic Jungle's standards may be removed without notification. If a buyer purchases gift card(s) from a listing containing inaccurate or improperly listed information, the buyer may cancel the sale and you will be held liable for any additional charges we incur to satisfy the buyer under the terms of our Plastic Jungle's Guarantee.
- Payment Method -- how you want us to pay you. We pay by Check.
- Your Credit or Debit Card Information -- In order to run a safe and efficient gift card marketplace, we ask you to provide a valid credit or debit card for verification purposes. There is no fee for listing gift card(s) at Plastic Jungle. We charge a 10% commission only when your card sells or trades. Read about Seller / Trader Responsibility in our User Agreement to learn more about the instances in which your card may be charged.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. Always double-check the information in your listing before posting it to the website. You can modify the information in your listing at any time until a buyer selects your gift card for purchase. For information on modifying gift card information, refer to Managing Your Listings .
It's up to you to decide on the sale price of your gift cards. Enter your desired price per gift card for each listing. Remember, when your gift cards sell, we collect a 10% commission and Shipping from each sale, which we deduct prior to sending your payment. Be sure to keep this commission in mind when deciding on a price.
- Listing gift cards at Plastic Jungle is free. We only make money when you make money. There are absolutely no startup, registration, or membership fees for using PlasticJungle.com.
- Unlike other gift card websites, Plastic Jungle doesn't own the gift cards you purchase. We're consumers, just like you, who are providing an active marketplace where fellow consumers can gather to buy, sell, trade and save! By paying the 10% commission, you're helping us cover the cost of providing this service and our industry's first; Plastic Jungle Guarantee.Thank you!
- Plastic Jungle charges a 10% commission on gift cards only when they successfully sale or trade. This fee plus Shipping is deducted from the proceeds of the sale once delivery to the Buyer is confirmed.
